How Fast Can You Lose Fat?
Hi, I’m Ivana Chapman and today I’m going to talk to you about how fast you can lose fat.
Well, this is a little bit like that question “how long is a piece of string?”. It all really depends so I mean some people give that guideline 1-2 pounds of weight a week. Okay well that’s fine, but what are you losing when you’re losing that weight and what we’re really looking for is to build muscle and lose fat. You want to improve your body composition. It doesn’t really matter what the weight is. If you’re going to look better because you have a little bit more muscle and you’re getting leaner because you dropped some fat, then that’s what we’re after. We’re not about weight loss. Fat loss is a little bit more difficult to predict as well so it all depends on how committed you are to your training and how committed you are to your nutrition plan. So I mean I’ve seen people get incredible physiques, under 10%. It takes time. It all depends on where you’re starting from, but there’s no real guideline. Just work hard and then you’ll get the results that you need. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed today’s tip.
