I’m Ivana and my mission is to help moms and dads over 35 get leaner, healthier and stronger.


I can change your relationship with food and exercise so you feel in control of your body and get in your best shape after 35.

I want to show you that exercise and balanced eating is something both enjoyable and sustainable for a lifetime, and not a quick fix for things you don’t like about your body.

Although I’ve trained athletes, actors, and fitness models, I now specialize in helping busy parents with demanding careers fit exercise and effective nutrition into their hectic lifestyles.

You don’t have hours to spend in the gym every day, and you have a life to live that might include the occasional beer or a glass (or two!) of wine once in a while.

I can help you achieve the body of their dreams.

I realize all the BS in the fitness industry makes it challenging. Everyone’s looking for “the next big thing” that’s going to make it easy get lean and muscular, without all the work. TRX, Crossfit, ViPR, Kettlebells…there’s nothing magical about any of them.

As for traditional cardio (spending hours on the treadmill, crosstrainer, or stationary bike, or jogging), it’s overrated too. Too much may actually be preventing you from reaching your physique goals.

They’ve got it all wrong about carbs too.

They’re not bad, but you may be having too many to get really lean, and you may be having them at the wrong time.

With the power of a progressive weight training program, and the right amount of protein, carbs, and fat, I’ll show you how simple building your ideal physique really is. You’ll need to work hard, and make some dietary changes, for sure, but YOU CAN build the body you want, get healthier, and feel stronger and more energetic…without giving up the foods you love or turning your life upside down.

Ivana’s Story

In over two decades as a coach, I’ve developed the tools and flexibility to help you unlock your individual potential, even if you thought your peak physical years were behind you.

Your success is a combination of the right type and dose of weight training, a nutrition plan that takes into account your needs and optimizes your hormonal balance, and the psychological tools to follow-through on your plan.

ivana-chapman-runningI started martial arts as a child, earning my black belt in Shotokan Karate at 15 (I’m now a 3rd Dan) and competing internationally for 14 years. I completed a 10K run, half-marathon, and marathon in 2012 to prove that I could do it using way less mileage than most runners and a lot fewer carbs.

I’ve struggled with digestive issues since 1998, and suffered from binge eating, food obsession, and depression as a result. Even while I competed successfully in karate, I was chunky and unhappy.

In fact, I was heavier at the age of 24 than the highest weight of my pregnancy in my mid-30s!

Finding the right system of nutrition and exercise finally gave me freedom from the yo-yo weight battles of my early adult years. The method also helped me get in shape to win a fitness competition and do a published photo shoot as a fitness model just nine months after having my baby.

I want to save you the struggles I went through, and show you how to experience a stronger, leaner physique than you’ve ever had.

No Juice Fasting or Deprivation Around Here!

I’m not going to ask you to eat salads all day long or start your day off with some sort of weird green juice that’s supposed to starve you to get lean. This is about using the foods you already eat, adding and subtracting things as necessary, to create an ideal plan for you.

Being a parent means you’re under extra pressure to take care of others while you try to take care of yourself.

It’s hard to eat well consistently, while also worrying about what your little one(s) are going to eat

And you can’t spend all day in the gym!

There are LIES out there

Much of the nutrition advice in the mainstream media is hurting your chances of controlling your appetite, balancing your hormones for easier fat-loss, and reducing your cravings. The most efficient workout for getting lean and building the body shape you want comes from weight training about 40-50 minutes, 3-5 times a week. Maximum benefits in a minimum amount of time…because efficiency is what it’s all about.

Is This For You?

Removing animal products to “cleanse your system” or “become more alkaline” isn’t necessary or scientific. Meat isn’t the devil, but quality counts. Getting enough high-quality protein might help get you closer to your physique goals.

There’s no need to follow any fad diet or eliminate any food groups, unless you have an allergy or intolerance.

Believe me, I’ve done a lot of those crazy elimination diets and they only increased my desire for certain foods.

What does the future look like for Ivana?

My true passion is helping people live healthier, leaner lives. I’m secretly working on a book…sshhh don’t tell anyone 😉 and always coming up with new ways to help my tribe.

My objectives look like this:

Help a million people get lean and healthy. 

Yep, it’s a massive goal, but I see how the world has been impacted by large food conglomerates and “fitness experts” on Instagram misinforming the masses. Over 65% of North Americans are overweight and obese (other developed countries have similar rates), which is crazy to me. If I can help a million people live a leaner and healthier life, I believe that world will be a much better place.

Lead the fight against the Instababe and Brofessor BS. 

We live in a world where anyone can be an “expert” as long as they have a social media account and a website. There are so many charlatans in today’s world, and I’ve seen too many people get hurt by poor information. I’m sure we all have that friend that went on a 12 week transformation only to bounce back to 20 pounds above their original starting weight. My job is to give people a system that’s sustainable, fun and effective.

Promote a positive attitude towards aging and battle against the notion of our bodies “going downhill” at a certain age.

I tune out to the negativity about how “hard” things get when you’re over 35. A lot of the supposed decline is due to sub-par lifestyle choices and letting the pressures of being an adult get to you. Weight training helps you resist the muscle loss that’s associated with aging and eating adequate nutrients (particularly protein!) helps maintain and build your muscle as you get older – the key to feeling and functioning like someone much younger. Don’t go down without a fight!

Hey guys! My name is Ryan, and am the co-founder of Ivanachapman.com. My role is ensure that we operationalize the business by leveraging strategies and expertise I’ve learned in the business world working with the top technology companies.
I support my lovely wife (she didn’t make me say that, I swear!) from a business strategy and operations perspective, in other words, I make sure that we’re providing the best possible experience for our clients across the globe.
When I’m not working on IvanaChapman.com, I’m navigating complex and large business deals with fortune 500 companies as Strategic Account Executive for a top technology company based out of the US.


I understand what it’s like to be a parent with a busy schedule and life pulling you in a million directions. But, what’s inspired me to become a better and healthier person is following Ivana’s advice.
I know I’m biased, but in reality, Ivana has helped me personally navigate the tough times in my life, whether it’s nutrition related (I love chocolate!), or maybe I’m not getting the results I want in the gym, or perhaps it has more to do with my mindset, career related, or managing my patience with our son Kai; whatever the case,
Ivana has guided me in ways I never thought possible.
This is what inspired me to join forces with Ivana to build something special that’s geared towards the unique challenges we face as busy professional, super-parents.


Ivana and I met in Cairns, Australia, a small tropical town considered as the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef – yes, so you’re  probably wondering why we’re in Canada vs a tropical paradise.
More on this later.
Ivana was backpacking up the east coast of Australia, and I was training to become a professional pilot while playing competitive rugby.
When we met, Ivana started to train me in preparation for my upcoming rugby season. Within 12 weeks, I went from 230lbs to 255lbs. Not all of it was muscle, because I didn’t follow Ivana’s advice on the nutrition front. So, here I am, 6ft 3, 255lbs, lifting crazy amount of weight, but because I didn’t follow Ivana’s nutritional advice, my increase in size became a hindrance on the field.
After some modifications, I trimmed down to a lean 240lbs and my speed, fitness and agility had improved significantly. This was my first lesson why you shouldn’t dirty bulk as an athlete.
In 2009, we moved back to my homeland, New Zealand in pursuit of a professional rugby contract. It was a rough start to my pre-season. In my 3rd pre-season game, I broke my ankle on my 21st birthday – great present, right?!
Here we were without jobs, no resources, little money and some sour lemons. Life was tough. But, I was lucky enough to have Ivana by my side to coach me throughout this phase of my life.


On April 21st, 2011, we moved to Toronto, Canada.
We had visited Canada in 2009 when I was out for 12 months with my ankle injury and I loved what Toronto had to offer. It was a vibrant and diverse city that I felt that could help me develop as a person.
It was the best decision I had ever made, besides asking Ivana for her number. 🙂
Long story short, this was the 3rd country that we had live in together, and this was going to be our hub probably for the rest of our lives.
We came to Canada without any plans and built a life, family and lifestyle that makes us feel complete. As my career in sales progressed, and the business grew, life was throwing new challenges at us.
In 2012, we got married in Barbados, and then in 2014, our son Kai was born.
When you become a parent, it’s very easy for your personal goals, hobbies and lifestyle to fall to the way side.
One thing Ivana and I promised each other is that while we recognize that our son was the most important, we had to treat ourselves and each other with the same level of importance. If we weren’t feeling good or taking care of ourselves, then how can we expect to take care of Kai to the best of our abilities. We don’t only want to raise Kai to be a confident, happy and caring person, we also want to inspire him through our actions.
Living a fit and healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be difficult, and this is why we’ve built a system and programs that are tailored to busy parents that want to get fit and healthy.  


I’m most passionate about helping others.
There’s something inspiring hearing other people become successful at whatever they’re doing – It fuels me as a person. I have many passions outside of work and business.
I’m active aerobatic pilot and have competed around the world, and share love sharing my joy for aviation, below is a video of me flying my airplane. When I’m not in the boardroom, working on the business, or flying, you can find me hitting the weights hard in the gym. As a former athlete, I place high-value in staying in shape.
While it seems like I have a lot on my plate, I ALWAYS put my family first. I never miss an important event, I spend quality time with Kai by building structures, playing sports or teaching him math, and I support Ivana anyway I can, while making dinner almost every night.
It is possible to have it all, but having the right strategies for eating and training, can save you a lot of effort and get you the results you want. 


I used to struggle with my nutrition. I would always make things complicated, by preparing my meals for the week and sticking to a strict diet, and all it did was complicate my life as I felt that I couldn’t have chocolate or beer because it would impact my results.
How wrong I was!
With a simple, but scientific approach, Ivana showed me how to get lean, and stay lean year round while still enjoying the foods I love.
In fact, I’m in better shape now than I was in my early 20s.
I think a lot of people put too much emphasis on diet and foods, when in reality the issue has more to do with their relationship with food and exercise.
I’m sure you or someone you know still thinks cardio is the most effective for fat loss, right?
So did I, but little did I know that you can get better results with 30 mins 4-5 times per week in the weight room. You’ll get leaner, stronger, improve body composition, bone density and so much more.
