Now’s the time to take the first step towards your new year’s goals.
This year is quickly winding to a close.
Before you prepare for your New Year’s Eve celebrations, take a few minutes to think about what you accomplished this year. What goals did you have for your health, fitness, career, and family life for this year? How successful were you at achieving them?
Now that you’ve given it a little thought, let’s not spend too much time gazing back in time.
What you really want to focus on is your plans for the year ahead.
What do you hope to accomplish? If you were already at the end of 2014 and looking back, what goals would you be proud to have achieved?
Use those ideas to plan a month-by-month and even week-by-week plan for the days ahead of you. Many people keep putting off their dreams for future years, but if you’re really serious about achieving a goal you need to get started immediately. Days and weeks pass by quickly if you don’t take action to achieve the things you want most in life.
Don’t let time slip away!
If there’s something you want to accomplish in life (entering a Bodybuilding competition, taking up Olympic Lifting, or just losing 10lbs), start working towards your goal immediately.
All it takes is that first action to get you on the path you want to be on. The first day you walk into a gym is the first small step in achieving your goal. Each step builds on the previous step and before you know it you’ll be within reach of your greatest desire.
There’s no better time than now.
No better day than today.
Take your first step.
