This guy is in the driving seat of his own life.
You’re sitting in your car, heading down that highway called life. Are you the driver or are you a passenger? Are you the one in control or are you being driven along by someone else’s desires?
Do you even know where you’re going?
You’re in Charge of Your Life
Hopefully you’ve at least decided which road you’re travelling on. If not, that’s the first step. Decide what you want to achieve in your life. Write it down. Look at it every day. Make the decisions that are best for you.
Who’s in the Driving Seat in Your Relationships?
Some people are natural drivers. They’re confident, enjoy making decisions, and prefer being in control. Other people are content to enjoy the ride and go wherever someone else steers them.
When it’s your life that’s under consideration, you need to be the driver. Other people shouldn’t be making the decisions for you; not your spouse, or parents, or your friends. Be true to who you are and go in the direction that you need to achieve the results that you want.
YOU Need to Take Action
It pays to have a mentor, or at least someone who supports your goals, but you’re the one who has to do the work. Other people can help guide you in the right direction and give you some tools to get ahead. They can help you get through stumbling blocks.
Ultimately, though, it’s up to you to drive.
